The first thing I noticed when I walked into my home before I bought it was a blank wall between the kitchen and bedroom. I knew that spot was going to be my focal point of the home, the ideas started flowing.
I desperately wanted to put in a fireplace but living in South Florida with a working fireplace would be a joke. Not to mention my husband has to set the temperature to below zero to function. So I did my research on faux fireplaces and found out you can make your own with supplies from Home Depot. The project was a success and it made an interesting focal point for the space. I am constantly updating the fireplace with new colors and decoration with each season.
